Vaginoplasty tightens the vaginal canal by removing excess lining and repairing the surrounding muscles, typically performed under general or regional anaesthesia as an outpatient or short-stay procedure. Most women need around 4–6 weeks before resuming sexual activity and strenuous exercise, though light daily activity typically resumes much sooner.
